Fresh Financial Solutions
How we write, check and correct information
Source: https://freshfinancialsolutions.com/editorial-policy/ — Page updated November 5, 2026. General education; not a professional review date.
You should be able to see where an explanation comes from, what a calculation leaves out, and when a claim still needs verification.
Policy published November 5, 2026. This date identifies this policy; it does not mean every page was professionally reviewed on that date.
Start with original sources
Our explanations use primary sources where practical: the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Courts, Department of Justice and appropriate state agencies. Links help you check statements and find current guidance. A government link is not an endorsement of this website.
Separate facts, examples and offers
Examples are hypothetical. Calculators use the inputs and assumptions displayed with each tool. We describe material risks alongside possible benefits, distinguish settlement from full repayment, and distinguish bankruptcy cash costs from a complete financial outcome. Guaranteed savings, success rates, licenses, credentials and service coverage require evidence.
Who writes and reviews this material?
Material currently appears under the Fresh Financial Solutions site name. Named author biographies and independently verified legal, financial or tax reviewer credentials have not been published. Do not assume a page has been reviewed by an attorney, financial adviser or tax professional. General information cannot account for your facts, local rules or court deadlines.
Commercial relationships
The separate business area discusses leads and live warm transfers. Public-agency links are references. Any future paid referral, sponsored placement or commercial recommendation must be identified where it affects a decision, with the receiving business and relevant compensation or sharing explained. See referral disclosures.
Updates and corrections
We update an explanation when a material error or changed source is identified. The planned routine check is at least annually; a schedule is not evidence that a review happened. Important changes to formulas, costs, risks or service status should carry a short correction note on the affected page. Wording changes alone should not make old research appear newly reviewed.
Use website help and corrections to flag an issue. Give the page address, statement of concern and an authoritative source if available. Do not send personal debt records. No response time or personalized advice is promised.
Find independent help in our resource directory. If you receive court papers, follow the court’s instructions and get qualified legal help promptly. Reading this site does not stop a deadline.
